FWIW once stainless or aluminum is galled, there's zero chance of recovery. The metal has effectively welded itself together.

Understood.... Only option I see left is possibly drill out shaft at threads, drill it big enough and it may come apart, threads are almost certainly damaged and will need repair... Or cut the impeller in half and clam she'll it off.... At this point I just need the mag stator section

Yup, sacrifice the least expensive component or the easiest to remove and at least try to recover a portion.

I had this happen on a brand new Skat pump and impeller a couple years ago. I sent it back to Skat and they ended up cutting off the impeller. The shaft threads were damaged beyond repair so they ended up replacing both on warranty.

DIY welders special, skat 10/16, minor assembly required

I was in the same dilemma last year, ended up cutting the prop in half just like you did. it sure sucks having to cut up an otherwise good prop :(

make sure you use plenty of anti-seize on the next one!

So sad to see that impeller cut up like that. I have assembled countless pumps and always use a dab of lock-tite because thats what i books says to do. I think ill probably be switching to the anti-seize method ha.
