If you set peoples expectations that they will be able to contact you Mon - Fri 8 - 5 and can expect a response during those times also it may save the above.

Personally I think you are 100% right to take the weekend as a break and was he expecting you to post them Sat/Sunday when the businesses that deliver the items dont work?? some people just dont get it.

Hope what ever you decide is for you :)

I can fix that, PLEASE- never expect to reach me. I am working- always. I cannot be reached and in the event I stop working, I may get back to you. but probably not.

your parts will be delivered. IF there is a question or problem I will always get back to you. ALWAYS!

: ) I hope everyone will understand I am being serious but also trying to be funny. Its like the world rests on jeski parts sometimes. its okay, they are just jetski parts- calm down. Ill make them, they'll get there. I promise.

Thankyou to everyone for the support and help in smoothing things over when occasionally needed I appreciate it.

November was very very slow. it was more than made up for in the first week of Dec. and the second week. I am buried now, and have multiple orders of several of the same parts. little things like the holidays and all the things that go along with having kids, slow shipping of supplies and other things slow production down. you have no idea how much time it takes to do the back and forth on pms, shipping paperwork, phone calls, text messages, email, send me my tracking no, and so on. some days its almost impossible to get anything done.

sometimes its to the point where I have worked so many hours straight and go and sleep and then get back to the shop I start to feel like a zombie. what am I doing? its not fun. this is a problem when you turn your passion for jetsking into a job. it takes the fun out of it after awhile. ask anybody in my ride area how much I am seen on the water in a given year. it sucks to work so hard and not reap the benefits. So I take a personal day, have to when you work 7 days a week.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Most guys are very cool about it and are not in a rush, some are and explain that when they need it RFN. I always try to go the extra mile when its needed.

I have been thinking it may be time to get a regular 9 to 5 and turn this back into a hobby. Mainly because I miss my skis, I have projects waiting for a year or more that need bodywork finished and molded. like the x2 that will be bagged and light. I am just about a week or two away from laying up the fx hull with Chasingdaylite. and I want to make another right away. I have sj hood I am in the middle of redoing for 2 years. A blaster hood waiting longer. the list goes on.

Sure its easy to say hire help. WHO? who do you trust to not cut corners, to make the best part they can because their reputation rides on it and is willing to itch and sweat and deal with me for the meager amount I can pay them. I have been down that road before and sometimes its surprising how quickly you see that painting air bubbles out of material is just not for everyone.

I dont plan on quitting just changing gears. My interests are more in developing new parts and making some lightweight versions of some things I already have.

Why say something in one sentence when you can say it in several paragraphs? thats me.

thanks

fugg... you coulda knocked out 3 sets of holds in the time it took to post that rant... :clown:

yz your holds shipped out fed ex last night. I thought you were joking about did they ship, you pmd on thur that you would send money that night and I had said 2 to 3 days. fed ex does not ship sat or sun. I dropped them off after work on mon. best I could do sorry to let you down.
Oh you didnt let me down lol. I just wouldve appreciated a little better communication but I would buy from you again and I would reccommend you to somebody. Thanks Tom.

lol, uh you are not gonna believe this, I just got a call from fed ex. they have marked my package as suspicious as it is emitting a strong odor! well yeah, fresh resin will do that. I have been shipping parts for years and this is the first time I have had this happen. So now I will be taking more of my already short time to go down to the office and open the package so they can see there is no dangerous material in it. Lets hope that will be enough to convince them that its not hazardous.

figures right?
Of course that would happen on my first composite order lol. Thanks for figuring this out tom

I guess I was verbally abusing the guy at the fed ex store cause some old lady was snickering at everything I said to the guy. "what you never smelled fiberglass before?" snicker. and so on.

he wants me to bring open boxes for the foreseeable future. I said just make a notation on my account that all my boxes will smell funny. she was balling at the other counter.

in the end, it ships.
