anyone built a good ramp to get some air for a standup ski ?plans?

bk,dude did you see the stupid shizz they were doing to their skis to beat the crap out of them,it wasnt from just going up the ramp,I disagree that ramps are gay, flat water is gay and ramp is the only thing that can save it from boredom. If your trying to spin inverts you may be out of control but big huge stabs look very controlled to me amongst other tricks.
We have a private lake we could leave it at permanent, might have to pull it back to the dock a few feet at the end of the day.so no transport issues.anyone know of any plastic type sheathing out there that would give and last on this kinda ramp?
Andrew, not really interested in a wedge ramp, but id like to see some vids of what you can do off them for sure.Id think a little transition would be perfect, but not so much that the entire ski wouldn't be on the ramp the whole time,it would have to be a long slow transition

boat to me is break out another thouasand, and I have enough expensive toys.they are boring also, only interest I have in a boat is 2 wakeboard boats to form a v wake, now if we could just get enough expendable $ to buy them lol

not all boats are the 'break out another thousand' kind....I have a couple of small boats that are worth less than a thousand apiece that are a saving grace for crappy wave days

this ramp idea just seems so off course coming from you

flat =gay +1 waves or wakes hmmmm easy choice.

Bk I was talking about riding out straight nose stabs, not sliding the ski on the ramp.there is going to be some level of control...........with skillz lol

Idok,I know dude desperate times call for desperate measures lol

I actually agree with you for once, Torr.
Flatwater is gay.

I find myself cruising around for less than an hour looking for GOOD wakes, then I get bored.
Lately I search for two particular wakeboard boats that have thrown V's for us in the past. Usually they like indulging us.
Now there's flatwater action that is crazy fun. Up until last weekend I didn't think it was possible to throw a good roll of those wakes, but I was wrong. HUGE rolls are possible.

Once you get used to it and the boats are doing a good job, it's pretty easy. takes a bit of practice and good timing, though.
There's also the pucker factor of riding that close to boats.

Any info on ramps is goood info.its better than nothing, imagine a flow rider ramp with 8 inches of water shooting up it.....if money were no thing...lol

People with no skilz just use waves to mask the fact that they have no skillz.......

know what I am saying!!!!!!!!!!!

;)

man I wish i could flip and roll off no waves.... it would mean I had a bigger wallet!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I have surf sometimes so I can do that without big $$$$$ motors......

:Banane19:
minus the flipping.... i've only been halfway so far(3 attempts) and broken a bunch of parts.(helmet, couplers, dangerboy coupler donut, hood liner, cracked gelcoat on hood, 4 motor mounts, and go pro camera case) on third attempt
