Debating now days is pointless, way too many ppl have way too many diet, training types that work for them. Everyone is different and each to their own. It does not hurt to be open minded though, why be narrow minded and hold yourself back from better health or well being just because your stubborn.

Hopefully that was not a dig, accusing me of being close minded and stubborn for i am very far from it. I simply meant that I would not debate one commercial "diet" over another for i believe they all miss the boat somehow.

I believe success leaves clues and true health comes from a holistic approach, Eat Well, Move Well, Think Well.

Our bodies are Innately programmed to obtain homeostasis and will do so when given all the things they need for growth and repair and none of the toxins that hinder that function.

Not a dig at all bud, I was actually saying the opposite, that your not pushing your thoughts on others, and are open minded to whats out there.

Cool, if you like the angle on homeostasis I have a couple seminars from Chestnut on cd as well i could load.

He has a very simplistic approach to health that at times seems oversimplistic but is guaranteed to change the way you think about health forever.

He has a mean backhand too, LOL He slays me on the tennis court!

My discussion of homeostasis involved hpta function along with different protocols for inhibited testosterone production. Does he discuss the effect of food and such on ones natural test production.

His seminars are meant for doctors ears only so they go pretty deep.

He explains the big picture in an effort for people to see the human body as an ecosystem where balance of diet, exercise and positive thought all contribute to a health body. "Eat Well, Move Well, Think Well" as opposed to trying to isolate individual pathologies and try to treat each one on it's own with drugs and surgery.

I noticed this thread is a bit old now but theres a movie out now called "forks over knives" which touches on alot of the points that the china study makes, my gf read the china study but im not a reader by any means so i was pretty happy when this movie came out. Full of good information, even if you don't believe in all of it im sure you will take something positive away from it to influence your diet.
