We have one. They are HEAVY and IMO don't handle very well. They are cool, old school history though. I did a walk around video of ours a while back -

That is also what I have heard from several sources that they are very heavy , I really would like to see s side by side comparison of the Viper and the Thunderjet , exact same driveline , completely different hulls .

I am also wondering what the weight is compared to like a SN Superjet which is also a pretty heavy hull .

Depending on what is still in the hull , if most of the engine is there, those parts bring big bucks now, you should be able to get into the hull for free if the engine is still there , the jet pump will bring a few bucks also , its an aluminum version of the afterburner pump . a 750 pump conversion kit should let you fit a bigger pump in it and it has the inner liner the engine bolts to like my Thunderjet does.

About 6 months after buying that piece of Sh*t BlunderJet, PJS released the Viper. I was bummed out , Bigtime! Although it had its own issues it was a major improvement in construction and at least shared some similar handling characteristics to a 550.

ya it looks like bare hull. i did a little research and it looks like they are a tad heavy for what they are, i think if i do it again im gonna get another 550 sx or custom made sx with a some reinforcement to the hull or possibly a 300sx. been somewhat inspired by some of your projects.

first things first is the tigercraft v3 hull finished and done up before anymore financial black holes. but tossing around an idea on what to do with spare engine and electronics. seen alot of guys enjoy there 701 550s

Jet skis are financial black holes , they are not a financial risk , that would assume you that you might get your money back at some point , that moneys gone forever lol !
