Other Anyone ever seen one of these boats?

Picked it up yesterday.. just wondering if anyone has ever come across one... serial plate says it was built by conley mfg of Manitoba.... someone cobbled in a snowmobile engine that won't be staying in it... I'll probably do a build thread just because it's different and I've got ideas... just mainly checking to see if anyone has info on the boat(production date, factory specs, etc) or even on the company itself... google don't seem to find much...

According to the plate they called it a cobra... I'll get better pics tomorrow... have some on my phone but Tapatalk doesn't want to work today...

HIN should have your model year in it. I think it's the last two numbers.
I think it's much older than a 97... this thing was built before HIN was stardard procedure... only has manufacturer serial number..
I did also find that conley mfg was established in 74 and is no longer in business.... other than that I have nothing...

Where did you get 97 from? Boats have had HINs forever. I often walk down the dock and just look at HIN dates, and I've never not seen one on a transom. But if you've got something custom, I guess it may have never gotten a legitimate HIN(?).

Wow...cool...I wonder if any riders near Winnipeg can do some local homework. It looks like that is where it came from.

Yea.. I have not found a HIN tag on it.. just a serial plate(I was being sarcastic about it being built before HIN's)... all I have is manufacturer, model, and serial number...
