He offered me a refund as well. I told him to send the check back to me, so he sent the ski because he obviously no longer had the cash. Good luck either way i hope the best for you

Just an update i decided yesterday to get my money back and nikad had it wired to me by noon today, money is in my account as we speak. now imma go by that ski from darktower if he will sell it to me.
So it never shipped then?

of coarse it didn't....its butch. Dubs story is the identical thing butch did to me, execpt he didnt have the money to give me back so he shipped the ski.

He had the ski ready to ship at his work. He had to work offsite that day. The guys at his shop were suppose to fork lift it on when the truck arrived. Well the freight truck arrived and they couldnt get the fork lift started. So it didnt get picked up. Butch thought it was shipped that day as the idiots at his shop never called to tell him that the POS fork lift wouldnt start and it didnt get loaded onto the truck.
So, Butch had planned to go out of town the rest of the week to Vegas and with 3 days/nights here in Havasu at Body beah Fri, Sat, Sun. Well he went back to work on Monday to see the crate still sitting there. Then he refunded Dubs.
Believe it or not... I dont care. Thats what happened.

Back in October '06 I bought my ski from Butch, a couple weeks later I tried to get an answer if my ski shipped. I finally got a hold of him and he tried to sell me a set of carbs which I turned down. Come to find out he needed that money to ship it. So a few weeks later it finally shipped when he got the money. Good guy to talk to but a bad business man.
How much does a crated SJ weight and why do you need a forklift to load it on the truck if there are "guys at the shop"?
