Custom/Hybrid Anyone know anything about this: R&R/WDK 1200 Fuel injected??

that ROKr is just a shell. it has rear exh, which is not how they are now made. side exh so the plate can bolt on. looks like a hoax to me. wdk has been talking about FI for a year now. i'm sure what ever he has came up with, will be at WF.

Hi guys, I'm involved with Lincoln at R&R Powersports down here in NZ. We put together the triple piped SXR 1200 in the vid above. It featured custom triple 50mm throttle bodies with electronic fuel injection. It certainly did rip. That was one of two triples we built - the other was my personal race boat that is a 1100 Kawi with custom modified 48mm carbs to act as throttle bodies and a single coffmans pipe. Goes really well. Both feature the same injection system. I'll post some pics up later for you of my ski.

The pics from FB above is the new custom kit we are developing for WDK. We have the injection system and they have the goods in regards to a 66E based platform. Linc has used his own Matrix as the test boat. We've put on a single 50mm throttle body with dual injectors. Its been designed here in NZ as is a custom billet body. The ski has amazing power delivery. We are commercialising the injection system (unfortunately with some delays we've missed having it at the WFs) and hope to have something out soon.

I'm happy to answer questions where I can.

Cheers, Richard

Thanks for speaking up Richard, I couldn't find much for information other than the FB page. Is the injection system mainly for racing applications or will it be suitable for freestyle applications as well?

No problem, the single body kit is aimed and freestyle / freeride. It gives unreal bottom end response over a carburetor setup.

Where can I find out more about this system? Do you have a production release date?

At this stage there isn't an official release date I'm afraid. We're just going as fast as we can to get something out. Its not the best situation to be in but at the same time we don't want to draw a line in the sand yet and then be hit by delays and not deliver. Regarding more info, feel free to ask questions or look up R&R Powersports on FB and you can easily communicate directly with Lincoln there. Thanks.
