Actually, the signature picture is only loaded at most once (depending on the browser cache setting) per page, so there is no additional load on the server or extra bandwidth used anyway.

actually your browser will only load the images once no matter how many times they are on the page, regardless of if it is 1 or 99 times.

That's exactly what I'm saying.
And if you don't set your browser to reload the page "every visit", it's only going to load the image once, and reuse the cached version.
