any who is running this pipe any feedback on it im mainly concerned anout the water coming back into the motor anyone having problems with that etc

I have ridden 2 skis w/the PFP pipe and no issues with back flow of water.
PM me if u want a line on a 2nd gen PFP for considerably less than retail.

This is the only pic I have at the moment-pipe has been run 2 hours. Will come with EVERY part that it originally came with. Ex manifold has been ever so slightly port matched. Pipe is and looks like brand spankin new. It is NOT one of the 1 generation welded section chambers.
1100.00 + actual UPS shipping costs in the US only.

What is the main difference in power between this and the regular factory pipe?

As in the B pipe? Compared to a B pipe the 'hit' is much stronger and much longer. It simply starts pullin harder a fuzz higher in the RPMs than a B pipe. WF should speak for the power-I believe nearly all the PRO freestyle ski's at WF ran a Power Factor Products dry pipe other than BUN. (I think).

What is that flex pipe above the exhaust in your pic?
The water injection solenoid sprays into the manifold/coupler area and not into a water jacket correct?

so what happens when you leave the ski in the water??

My experience on the XFT-kill motor-float next to ski shootin the chit-take a leak-get back on ski and ride away. I have seen no issues. As far as leaving in the water for a long time-I can't say-haven't done that. As far as 5 minutes go-no problem.

Yes-H2o inj sprays into mani.

And no problems with water injestion? How about if you are sitting in the tray out on the lake? Just curious because my pipe is kind of the same way and I am always afraid of water running back into the cylinders and I am very carefull to make sure the ski is always level unless running. Wondering if I am worrying about it to much.

Here is the thread: http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/62846

Here was my response:

I have been running the Powerfactor system on my Team Scream setup all summer.

Pipe is amazing. Free's up a ton of room in the engine bay, most bad ass sounding thing on the water, makes people freak out, and best of all... the power. Granted, I am running a 846CC with Total Loss, but the power band is crazy smooth. No inconsistancy like the B-pipe. Tons of power down low, mid and high. I spin my prop like crazy EVERYWHERE. My weakest link - my pump. Mag next summer for sure.

Now, for the water in the motor issue... It has been a problem for me, BUT, not when I stop in the middle of the lake and let the 'ski float. I can go to the local party zones and my 'ski will float for hours before starting it. Always starts right up and rips, no issues.

The problem I have is when taking my 'ski out of the water on my cart and rocking the 'ski front to back. Motor does not turn over nicely (water doesnt compress). A few times I have had to take the spark plugs out of the motor and turn it over a bit to find a bit of water shoot out of the spark plug holes.

If you look at the way the pipe is in the hull, the exhaust tube is on a pretty good angle in the tray, then continues on the first section of pipe (the resenator which has an outside chamber that collects water), then slants back down into the chamber. Then the manifolds slants up and into the motor. Not as straight/level as one would think.

Overall, I love this pipe. My only complaint is the gas tank situation which I hope to have something figured out by next summer when I am at 1000CC and want to do "big lake" rides.

I had a 8MM stroker, 82MM bore (803CC). First I ran a b-pipe, the next summer changed to the PowerFactor Setup. No questions about it, felt much more powerful and smoother all around. Way more torquey feeling.

So how dificult is this pipe to set up? can the average joe make this pipe work correctly or will it need specialist fettling?

In the XFT hull it is too much to hang on to. KEEP IN MIND-I suck. lol
The time I rode the XFT w/the PFP it had a xtended ride plate on it w/no trim and all the dam thing wanted to do was flat water flip. (which I lack the skill and the ballz to carry thru with). lol

Easy to install. Leave the Jetworks valve where it is set. no instructions for water line cooling - I turned to my engine builder for advice on this. Pipe itself is easy to install / setup.

What makes it hard (or needing skill) is dialing in the carbs/timing/compression appropriately. NOT the same as a B-pipe.

how well do they fit in a sj do they rub at all

Fit just fine. No problems from what I have seen in SJ's. Mine is in a FS-1. It will probably fit a little nicer in a SJ having the longer nose to over mine.

I'll be running the same pipe and carbs with a 6 mm dasa billet pv motor. I will post feedback as soon as I get it dialed in

Hey Roo, what is your carbs jetted at with the set up? I need a base line since I have the same 46s

I can tell you what they are for 44MM Blackjacks, but I have no idea for the 46MM's. Team Scream set them up/jetted them and I never opened them up to look or even ask.

If you want the 44MM specs post up and I will drop you a line - just have to dig through my notes.
