Anyone sell a block off kit for leak down testing?

Looking for a block off plate kit for a 62t/61x 701 motor. Im tired of trying to get the intake and exhaust to seal.

Use a bike tube. Cut the portion with the Schrader and use that in to carb side. Use the other pice on the exhaust. Use the Schrader to pump it up

I think he still has some laying around. I can let him know if someone wants some.... They are super nice, but also expensive.

I would like to try and get one if he has any left, the amount of times I leak down test motors now its worth it to me to just get a nice block off kit.

How do the round plugs work on the stock exhaust?

You can also just buy neoprene rubber by the sheet and sandwich it between the carb/intake manifold and the exhaust manifold/cylinder joints.

I bought a bike tube and used that and it worked pretty good after I put some grease on the rubber to help seal it

It's not hard to make a set yourself. You need 1/4" steel plate and about 1/8" thick sheet of rubber. Make a template and start drilling and cutting.

If you can buy matco tools, they sell a quick dial pressure/vacuum pump. I bought one and have not even had a chance to try it on a pressure test. But it looks to be the ideal thing for the job.

I'm really surprised nobody makes a kit.

I have looked many times with no luck. It would be a cookie cutter item for anyone with a laser to cut out.
