Anyone snowshoe for exercise?

Tubbs makes great stuff I worked in the winter sports indsty for over 10 years and was a buyer for the last 5. We don't do big numbers in snow shoes but Tubs is the brand we sell. PM me if you know what set you want I'll see what I can do.

I ended up scoring a pair of Tubbs Altitude 30s off Craigslist. They are in great shape and I saved $200 bucks over new.

All I gotta say is this is great exercise. I warmed up by taking a leisurely stroll across the lake and then hit a few trails with some nice hills, keeping a brisk pace. Good cardio workout and it also hit my quads and hams pretty well, along with burning off a bit of winter blubber.

Kept my mind off of work and helped with the cabin fever. I've got a new hobby.

went snowshoeing this morning.

woke up to go snowboarding after a massive rain to no new snow so we played hooky anyway and went up white river canyon and drank and smoked some kind. just got home a bit ago. Had my buddies saint bernard with us to pack our treats. fun but wished i was boarding. no comparison.

oh and tubbs are great gear.

If you guys want a real workout .. dont use snow shoes, just wear boots !!! , I went 2.5 miles in minimum 1 ft heavy snow with my dog ''and wearing boots ''. ................. now I know why snow shoes would be a good idea LOL , its just cheaper my way and you dont need to go as far ..The dog slept the rest of the day . THAT workout is like doing TALL steps CONTINOUSLY up a 2.5 mile mountain! However I Think Ill look into these snow shoes !
