FX-1 Anyone try a 14/19 prop in there pump conversion?

Started to get parts for my pump conversion and picked up a 650sx pump for cheap with a nice 14/19 solar prop. Just wondering if anyone used one and if they liked it. I tried to search around and couldn't find any info.

solas 14/19 is the middle of the road prop for 650. its for a limited or modified motor and not good for stock. pretty good sized prop, so you better have a pipe and at least a 38mm carb setup.

This thread interests me as well - my wife's FX-1 has the 650 conversion, and she's running a straight 15. The 701 spins it down low, and hit the rev limiter on the top end. I think the 14/19 might be a bit steep for her setup, a 13/18 should be just about right, but haven't bit the bullet yet.

my bad. fx1 conversion? that should be an okay prop for that 701 at 60hp stock. kawi 650 is 52.1hp stock.

It will work but is a little steep. I run a 14/19 with a ss865 Scream engine and it's just right.

Thanks for the replies guys! Guess all try it out anything has got to be better then the stock pump its driving me nuts
I guess to if I don't like it I can always save it for when I am making some good power.
