Any other options out there? That last one is out of my price range, I just posted it because it was another kayak helmet and looks the best of the group IMO.

I have one of their earlier models called the "lector protector" (google it). Very sick looking but uncomfortable as he!!... Hopefully they have improved their fit and padding. Also the hardware on it was plated, not stainless so it rusted quickly.

I wear a cascade kayaking helmet. No, it's not 'cool' but it is very light and will keep your bars out of your face.

i am using the shred ready. nice helmet. not for peoples with big heads though. not a lot of pad like the downhill mtb helmets either. i like it thought

I'm not using any of those but I do run with a kayak helmet (not a full face). The one thing that I will note about those is they don't have any vents so if you ride in really hot weather, you'll either need to pull the face protector off or get a vented helmet.

picked up a Gecko. its actually really sick. I dont think it looks any worse then a FF kayak bucket... I cant believe how light it is, and the fact that there is no cloth means it will never really gain weight when its wet.

i run the troylee design mtb helmets
light weight , close full face , look pretty cool and easy to get .

had some other riders looking at them yesterday and everyone loves the fit and weight, plus in person they look better than on photos

i have the geckos in stock and im working on bringing some of the other colours, there are some other great options

im also working with gecko on pricing as they are a high dollar helmet, compared to none marine specific helmets, and, there maybe be a special x-h20 price coming soon.... we will see

My problem with MTB helmets is that I hate the visor and they really look stupid without them.
