What's harder a backy or a barrel roll?
barrel roll is much harder, back flip it not as scary as it seems just dont jet go of the ski and you will be fine. But awesome pics v-wakes are great......

Thanks Joe. :veryhappy:
The barrel roll is the hardest for me, by far.
My form starts out okay, but when I am upside down I start to uncurl.

Matt I know you are aware of the 2 things that make a ski roll: 1) tucking and 2) gluing the pole to the hood. If that is difficult which it can be, approach it like this:

1. Putting a little more shoulder into it (over the nose, but less than a nose stab...the nose should be down at a 45 degree angle)

2. The angle of the ski will aide the pole to get almost on top of the hood and this will speed up your rotation, even if you don't tuck.

Let me know if this helps!...it made a huge diff 4 me

I'll give it a try, thanks!
I've noticed that I rotate much better if I try to do a stab (I can't really do a stab anymore, they all end up like nose-down rolls!)

my .02 , I finally figured out that when stabbing keep your body straight up or almost the other way when you crank the bars at the top of the wave. For rolling tuck your shoulder and try and look under the bond line, pre turn also helps with rotation.

Anyone who does them well usually has the nose at a 45...Luke is a great example of this:
