Its been a while but i think they can be used but require some mods like cutting the skirts shorter. I know i have used CR500 pistons in several 89mm motors. But its been a while so im like 85% sure too. Maybe 86%. Lol.

Sorry i couldnt be more help. You may be right about the php 898. I know the blowsion super bore will take cr500 pistons as i used them in mine years ago. I think the dasa does too. One time years back i was rebuilding one and the pistons hit the crank and had to be modified so that makes me think there just cr500 pistons they just mod for the dasa. Maybe buy a used cr500 piston on ebay to compare or buy one on amazon to compare and return it.@Blue thank you for the response by the way.
No i tried those in a super bore 850 ring pins are in wrong place and dome angles all wrong. Are they seadoo 951 pistons?
My friend put out-of-the-box CR500 pistons in his 950 earlier this year. The only modification that had to be done was recutting the domes. Side by side, the only real noticeable difference was the crown of the Dasa piston being machined down. He's got over 20 hrs on it now.
The Dasas were cut like a cone, with a point. So the DASA pistons had a flatter dome? Cutting the squish band is no big deal but that would mean more compression unless the rest of the chamber was cut bigger.

I believe the entire contour of the domes were cut to try and keep the same volume.
