Are Breather tubes enough

So I am getting a 1000cc dasa to put In my lenzi. All I have for venting are the two breather tubes for the pole, do I need to make another hole in the hood and do like a down tube?

We have a 1000 Dasa in a XFS. When it idles on the trailer, If pop the hood open enough to slip my fingers in between the hood and hull and blip the throttle it will suck the hood down fast and hard. Kind of makes me wonder if it's getting enough air. Our SXR has a RRP pole I need to try it on that ski (stock SXR hood) and see what it does.

Ive got an XFS Comp with a dasa 1200. Have run it for a season with just the two pole tubes for breathing.

Tried a mates hood on the ski that had the ninja hood scoop on and was really noticeable power increase.

Cheapest and one of the best mods I've done...

I will always keep the breather holes in my hood. I cut the second breather in the back of the SXR hood, after I filled the front. I then got a RRP pole with Dual breathers. It wasn't until I got the dual breathers and two hood holes, when the hood stopped popping and sucking.

Isn't there a formula for vaccum pressure as you lengthen a hose/tube? I'm sure the dual breather is "enough", but a little more doesn't hurt.

Thanks guys. So I guess I do need more vents. Only thing that sucks Is my lenzi one has a massive hood and has no liner just the hood. So I am really going to test my newly acquired fiberglass skills to make a hood baffle and down tubes

I only had air coming through the pole on my TPE 1105 in my overall energy hull, we were worried there wouldnt be enough air when we built it but it had so much power it definitely had enough air getting to it
