do you hit the rev limiter often when the pump is in the water ?

6200 seems low to me.
My 2mm stroker Kaw 750 would rev out to 7200-7400 with the FP LTD pipe.
Just my $.02 I think you giving up a bunch of power.

Run no limiter. It's worth it to get more rpm.
