are strokers good for full throttle runs?

i plan on building back my sj so I can do some buoy carving along with some wave jumping and freestyle. I would like to get something along the lines of a 10mm stroker motor like a TPE 1105 or a dasa 1100. can you still run these stroker motors WOT for a little buoy carving also? or are they strictly for short full throttle bursts?

That is a lot of motor. I would build a strong 785 big bore.

It's not a stroker, but xmetal built a 900ss for Brian Dennis to race. It was retuned from their flat water setup. It pulled extremely smooth but very strong to 55mph. he was hole-shotting the 1100 sxrs. I loved it. It's my dream setup. Other setups can pull harder, even his tuned different, but I love a smooth power band that can be held wot. Makes the ski a lot more versatile.

I had my XS1000 in a Superjet hull for 12 months, held up to many wot runs. Quite rich in the top though.
Was hell fast.

Call Erik at TPE i'm sure he would be more than happy to set you up with a top end spec WOT buoy course motor, as long as he got to ride it when you finish
