Are these parts absolutely necessary?

Ok, so I just pulled my 650 out to make way for the 760 that will hopefully replace it. I already removed the coupler from both motors and swapped them with each other since the 760 had a 4 prong coupler and my ski is set up with a 3 prong. Glad thats over with. Now, since this motor was in a sit down it has some extras that I am wondering if are completely necessary for my Square? First is this metal part here that sat between my carb and flame arrestor. It appears to be simply a bracket to hold the grease fitting for the grease line going into the flywheel assembly. During shipping, the grease fitting down by the flywheel snapped off. I was thinking some JB weld could fix that pretty easily and I could shorten the grease line down to only an inch or two if it was necessary if this bracket thingy wasnt necessary.

The second part I was wondering about was this stock exhaust mount the 760 came with? I am running an AM Protec pipe that bolts up directly to the exhaust manifold. So, here is a pic, will I need this part either? I am not trying to save weight or anything, just clean up parts that dont really have a need in my ski. Please let me know...

I am also needing an oil pump block off kit with the two little plastic nipples for the carbs. I can get one on ebay for 14 bucks shipped Anybody that thinks they can beat this price please feel free to PM me. Thanks for the help

No, you don't need that pictured bracket. You can delete the grease fitting on the front cover, also get rid of the bracket at the carbs you mentioned. Here's a major thing you overlooked: the 760 stator is not compatible with your 650 cdi in the e-box.
The flywheel is also very heavy, good for couches. I suggest you use the stator, flywheel and flywheel cover off your 650. It's a direct bolt up!

The 760 came complete with all the electronics still on it which I didnt mention before. Are the flywheel covers not a little different in size? Its cool, I just bought a cool little anodized oil block off to add half a HP and a little bling. I will silicone the grease hole fitting on the flywheel cover and then cover it with a little nipple to clean it up a bit. What else?

the f/w cover looks different on the outside but the mounting surface is the same.

Use the 650 electrics and raise the rev limit a little. Its better if the carb bracket is there but most people remove them.

Why would they crack? I'm broke right now so mods will have to wait a little while. I'll get it ported and a new head when I run into a little more money. I just wanna ride! I got less than two weeks to finish this sucker. How do I swap the electronics? Looks like it would be hard. I am no electrician. Won't the 760 electronics be ok?
