1 week before tupelo and my motor decides to crap out. something let go and cracked the sleave.......... not sure what yet, but some definate foreign object damage......... may be part of the wrist pin bearings or lower bearings, small sliver of the piston is missing, not sure if that the cause, but who knows....

Talked to Jarrod a while ago, she came out of surgery, damage was worse than they thought. she has some new titanium reinforcement for her ankles.


Found some interesting metal in the exhaust manifold,have not determined where it came from............. lets just say a magnet likes it.

Looks like rear bearing let go, dont have my flywheel puller here so could not pull it the rest of the way down to inspect, but can heard the bearings clanking around.........

crank was new in Sept/Oct 2004
new topend January 2006

so, got some good life out of the crank and top end........
