how come you guys get wrestling shoes instead of wakeskate shoes like the teva gnarkosis that are designed to drain water better?? do they fit better or last longer or something? not being critical, just a newb trying to learn

They are really flexible but protect your feet well. Plus, Rick Roy wears them in all of my favorite videos. . .
The neoprene socks make them even more comfortable and easy to get on and off. I wear them year round now just for comfort. Great deal on those right now!

Wrestling shoes are the best riding shoes I have used so far and don't plan on changing. The only downfall is while riding in real shallow surf (Daytona) that has sand stirred up in the water, the sand will find its way into your shoes and crowd/cramp your feet. Haven't had this problem in other riding spots
