I have built water boxes plenty of times for different race boats and free ride as well. The thing I found that was very important was curves.
This is why most factory waterboxes have curved ends is to reduce the nose level. Flat ends send back a louder sound with no other gain

And while I think about it the OP was asking for an ATP Waterbox review, do you have one? or are you just commenting to make your own parts look good?

Actually wasn't meant to be a comment but rather a question.
And not a sarcastic one at that.
I was referring to the people who made comments.
And the reason for the question was. If there a lot of people who don't care how well a water box runs I can make one 100 less then our current one no problem.
It will be loud and inexpensive.
But it won't work as well as the more expensive one.
If I had a comment about your product and intended to be negative I don't sugar coat my comments.
But I will say when I heard that dyno run I had to turn it off hit stop button on my phone.
One more thing, I didn't have a break I just didn't make any product with our name on them.
My main business is development.
We don't specialize in retail or dealer sales.
We have spent last 20yrs developing products for others.

What would it look like if I went on my competitors yelp page and called out their customers for being ignorant, criticize that company's competence, then post my own resume?

To be fair to Tim I don't think he mentioned any names. He said boxes. I read it as all after market water boxes. He then got called by qjs, of course that's going to focus his attention as it would to anyone

To be honest I didn't intent to call out any one.
I was simply asking a question.
And please feel free to criticize our products. I welcome the input good and bad.
If you have found a performance issue with our product please feel free to post your input.
I am not above being criticized.
Apologize if the question I asked was taken as a statement.
But the question I asked was to the people who stated noise and fit.
There was no mention of the WATER BOX BEING UNTESTED BY MANUFACTURE.
the question was geared to the comments people made.

I will be the first to tell you our water box isn't the best power for every engine built in aftermarket world. It works well on a dasa as that's what was used to design it.
But it's not great on a X RR engine.
But if your gonna say I'm lame for asking a question to general public your not understanding the question asked.
Just to be clear. Go back and read what I wrote again. No where do I say this box was never tested for development and power and it wasn't good.
I was asking those who installed it if they did back to back testing.
Because there comments didn't give a before and after results.
No where does it say anything different or negative about the product.

I hear fit, sound, price.
But no one has done any testing to stock or other box's out there and give a reasonable performance test.

How many of you would throw performance aside for noise or cost??

Here the big question marks.
Aka making this a question to consumers.
No where do I speak of anyone's product.
So don't make assumptions that this was anything more then exactly what it reads.
There is one thing I would change in the wording.
Doesn't seem as though many consumers do proper testing.

And once again the reason for the question is for market research.

Hand full of you act is if we boasted one product over the other.
No such statement was made.

your post said nothing about the atp box.

you know lots of stuff about jetskis and are willing to share information, that's great, but lets keep the ATP Product threads about ATP Products and we'll keep the TNT product threads about TNT products.
