has anyone used one is a Superjet? Are they obnoxiously loud? What kind of performance gain is there? I would imagine better bottom end if any gain at all

I don't know about that. I have one in my ski and it runs drier and clears out much faster than OEM so the bottom end response is much snappier.
Would I remove a perfectly good stocker and replace with one? Absolutely not! But, if I was in the market for a new one, I would definitely buy the ATP again.

I have the ATP. Added a little bit of low end snap over stock, minimal though. And it isn't obnoxiously loud, only slightly louder than stock. It also lowers the exhaust note of the SJ.
