rules would be fine if they did not go airbound when the hull dries out... I don't know how many times I would have to flip the rule off and back on while trying to ride just so it would regain suction again

thats true, they do lose prime but thats what scuppers are for:biggrin:

Attwood = 12 vien Magnum Pump
Rule = 120mm FX-1 pump

you can also break off the upper plastic housing of the attwoods to make them slighlty more compact...

one thing I noticed with my Rules, I used to run only one 500 and it never airlocked...When I added the second one they both did....interesting

I've tried both and like the attwoods much better cuz they don't airlock. But i wouldn't go anywhere without a scupper, cuz if somethin happens to the battery, the pump is useless. And the scupper works when your getting towed in, with or without a hood!!!

Attwoods 500`s at wallmart like 12-15 buck if i remember right. I switched from rule to attwoods also. I like the attwoods better.

If you keep your hull full of water those pumps won't get air locked. lol:scared:
