I'll preface this with two qualifiers, I'm still newbish and this is my first 'real' aftermarket pole.
I got the pole from @Tigercraft to go on my new hull after I destroyed my LTD pole. It was $800 shipped to my door but that was in March of 2014. Don't know if that price still holds.
Pole is a beauty piece of CNC work. Basic colors are available but I got black with black tubes. I did appreciate that the anodizing matched hues between the clamps and the tubes. It has been about 6 months now and the anodizing still looks good. The fit and finish on all the parts is nice. Good stainless hardware and a stainless threaded rod for the 'safety' rod. The chin pad was included also and was gel coated. It was not turfed. The only thing I felt should have come with it that wasn't included was a steering stop/chinpad brace. I ended up just using the one I made for my LTD pole.
Everything fit together nicely. The cool feature of this pole is that the angle of the steering plate can be adjusted. Im really not sure if I need that. I put it on the lowest setting and had been riding it there ever since. It does give you some more adjustment though to get your steering setup just how you want it. Or just to match the angle of your hood.
I have had both a Cold Fusion (bushing style) and a UMI steering plate on it. Both work well for me. The steering cable housing stop/holder is pretty robust and I like it but it took a bit a machining before I could fit the heavy duty Blowsion steering cable in it. That was kind of a pain but its done and works great. Ther are also a couple of places to bolt the housing stop in so you can keep the lowest stress possible on your cable. That is a really nice feature.
Sorry I forgot to weigh it all before I put it on. I needed to get my ski back on the water! I did take a few pics though and I will upload them shortly.
Summary (opinions of course): competitive price for a top end pole. Fit and finish at least as good if not better than other top shelf poles (no crazy color options though if thats your thing). I am very happy with the way it feels and rides. Im not a good rider but I do punish my gear pretty hard and I have had zero issues. It is a quality pole.
My only minor complaint (this maybe my ineptitude at building) with a standard pole bolt in it, I cannot get the breather tubes positioned so they won't crease. That might be normal but it seemed to be much less creasing on the LTD pole.
Overall I'd give it a top rating. pictures coming next
