The v2 rides very flat for being a shorter ski. Turns and carves very well. It's a great all around boat, very easy to get used to.
I came off of superjet then a bob gen3 as well. my v2 rides great it's one of the best riding hull out there. rides flat carves like crazy and is super nimble both flat water and surf also not nose high at all. quality is good but be sure to check around the steering cable bulkhead fitting. my hull and my brothers v2 both leaked quite a bit there. easy fix though with silicone. overall front foothold is a must, and with how short the tray is a kick tail under the turf is key.I'm interested in how he liked the ride coming off a bob gen 2? Nose high as bob? More of a wave chaser?
