Other Autoclave

I think autoclaving jet ski parts /hull is way overkill. A well built infused hull would be enough.
We autoclave very few parts for our boats mainly rudders/daggerfoils.

Think the same. A well done infusion is the best way for skihulls. But most people cant handle it and and a failed infusion is a nightmare........

One shot infusion with 5/8mm core out of mould. No more finishing needed.

lots of things in life aren't needed. but lighter+faster+stronger = better. if someone has the money to spend on an autoclave and hull and is happy with 5 lbs less material and a stronger hull let them do it and give them applause

Yer sure thing if your got the money no harm in spending it. There are a few things to consider befor just chucking a part in an autoclave like your mould will is survive the autoclave?

Do you use a clear gelcoat in the mold first? Do you use Pva or some other mold skin?

Yes, its a special clearcoat. You can put it in mould an it goes in a good conection to the resin weeks later wuthout sanding. Work with no pvc relies . Only waxing the mold with special wax for the special clearcoat.

Cool, thanks. Workin my way to the kind of work you do. Don't want to bother you too much because I'm sure layup, resin choices, fiber choices, etc, are a little bit of a trade secret.
