Like I said on PWCToday.com......I said I was going to end the current auctions I had early becasue none had reserves on them.

Going forward, I will complete the transaction on any ebay item that ends with bids!!!

Some of the parts also sold over the past couple days..........please dont tell me you guys are going to crap on me for selling parts before the auction ends(12 hours or more).......they are for sale outside of ebay, as many of you already know!

Diggler..... Come on!

All of the auctions had bids on them and NONE had reserve listings. ALL of the auctions started out at $1.

Follow ebay rules or get hell for not following them.

An excerpt from ebay's rules:
It is acceptable for sellers to end a listing early in order to sell an item at the current bid price to the high bidder. Bidders are permitted to contact sellers with requests to end a listing early and sell at the current bid price; however, sellers are under no obligation to honor the request.

Of course, you did NOTHING similar to that.

Please visit this page to help you better understand where you went wrong. http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/end_early.html

Another excerpt:
If there are 12 hours or less before the end of the listing, your ability to end the listing early depends on whether there are any bids on the item and whether the item has a reserve price.

Number of bids on the item | Can the listing be ended early?

No bids | Yes

One or more bids | Yes, but you must sell the item to the high bidder.

One or more bids, but the item’s reserve price wasn’t met| No
All the auctions had atleast 2 Bids on them. 1 of the auctions you ended early had 7 bids on it when I looked 24 hours before it was suppose to end. NONE of the auctions had reserve bids. 1 of the auctions (motor) had a buy it now.

I'm finished here. You're not going to change. You looked like a pretty cool chap from your pics, but your ethics have issues.

When I started getting crap from everyone, all the auctions I ended yesterday where already up......I stated to everyone on PWCToday.com that I will be ending the current auctions I have up becasue none of them did have reserves.

Like I promised, Going forward I will go through with the transaction on any Item of mine that ENDS......to avoid this type of diggler bashing I have been experiencing as of late!

Ebay does give you the right to end an auction if there is more than 12 hours left in it.....thats ebays policy, not mine............Parts are for sale everywhere I can think of so parts can and do sell before auction ends.

Just trying to understand how ending my auctions yesterday is un-ehtical??

The options i chose through ebay for ending where:

"The item is no longer for sale"
or
"there was a problem with the reserve or starting price"

Both reasons where the real reason why I ended..........so for everyone to insinuate that I am a scum bag/un-ethical.....is ridiculous.

I could totally understand all this bashing on me if I was taking peoples money and not shipping a part out.....but the issue is much less severe!

My only suggestion if you desire anyhting from me is to contact me directly.....My price may not be the best around but you can rest easy knowing your part will arrive in 2-9 business days.

Keep the bashing going but I am done talking about this issue!!

Smell ya Later guys/girls!

clearly you don't see why this is annoying. Are you trying to sell an item? yes! either list it elsewhere or list it on ebay. with multiple listings everywhere you are of course increasing the odds of selling and even getting your price. the issue here is how to run a business. a smart business man can meet his customers needs/wants and still satisfy his own. you are obviously covering your needs but not theirs. by listing an item on ebay - it is understood you want to sell an item. its expected you will do just that, bids are made, most are waiting to the end to try and win at the lowest they can. NO ONE EXPECTS YOU TO PULL THE AUCTION!!!!!!! if you put on the listing that you would not sell if the amount you desire is not met- guess what nobody would bid. so by trying to work around the fees you are changing the way the auction works and creating a problem with meeting your customers needs. if you needed new tires and called to see if I had them in stock and could install them today and I told you I did, would you be pissed if you showed up and I said sorry - I knew you wanted em but I didn't get my price or I sold it to another buyer- full well knowing you were coming for em. sorry dude. and then you later see them for sale again!!! you would be livid.

from the sounds of it four things may be happening here.

1) you pay too much for skis/parts and therefore are forced to get a higher price. not easy to sell parts for higher than what the rest of the world is selling for.

2) your research for a given part is based on sales in a period where parts were selling for more than they currently are and you are under the impression you have set a good price but in fact are not.

3) you base your price on half of what new is- this is what most used parts places do. may work for people who are not using this and other sites. but if you are here you realize you can often get parts for half of that still. That is what having friends is all about. thanks everyone!!!!

4) you have some system of mathematically arriving at a price. has no bearing on what it is actually worth.

5) you are a greedy bastard and are just trying to get what you want cause that is what you think you deserve.

If you want to sell parts pick a spot and sell there. if you don't sell much you are doing something wrong. Nikad had no trouble selling tons of stuff until he had some problems that bungled things up. many others are selling stuff all the time. if you can't its clearly not theri fault its yours. time to rethink what you are doing.

again either sell exclusively on ebay and advertise you are selling parts there or don't sell there. list everywhere else and leave a phone number. be straight up with the price. it is what it is. they take it or leave it.

you can of course keep doing what you are doing but I don't see that getting you anywhere fast. I think you have pretty well damaged your reputation on the web and think its only a matter of time before you are no longer able to use ebay. not my concern, but just figured I would try to bridge the gap between the buyers and sellers.

I would say good luck- but that won't help.

I guess an all-alert bulletin should be released. He's back at it with the exact same tricks.

List of ebay auctions recommended to avoid:
220386942259
320355035672
320355037581
320355040169
320355041308
320355043237
220386975830
220386979393
320355047271
320355049686
320355050613
220386989931
220386991120

Notice that all of the auctions start at $1. None of the auctions have a reserve price or a buy it now price. None of the auctions say that it's for sell anywhere else but ebay.

I got $50 that atleast 5 of the auctions will end before their time without any winners. (Assuming the auctions aren't slammed with fake bids)

Any takers? :deal:

PS: I was going to buy those carbs off ebay earlier, but Diggler ended that auction early.

I wasn't going to get involved but...

the auctions that he has running now he will probably sell to highest bidder to prove his "good will", just one little thing everyone is missing, these auctions are for low dollar parts, very smart of him as he "might" loose few bucks sell below to redeem his name.

I said might since shipping might make up for it.

Things to keep in mind:

- I Never even sent the invoice for the item
-
I IMMEDIATELY refunded the money you sent me

Dont you dare make it sound like I took your money, gave you the "run around" and never sent the item...........cause that's BS on your part!

You don't have to send an invoice for a buyer to send payment for an auction if you have a fixed shipping price.

Ebay sends an email, buyer clicks "pay now" and it's done.

if the sale closed and you refused to complete it - you were in clear violation of Ebay policy.

How could he still not get that? Unreal.
