i saw that on CL. whats funny is the ad says "custom tank". (at least the original ad did)

whats even funnier, is my buddy who rides here in Daytona is running a tank like that too. haha

Basically the same capacity as a kart tank only $80 cheaper... Debated it many times myself. Has a handle to yank it out of the ski easily too so you don't have to get oily goop all over your hands by grabbing underneath it. If you rig it right, you could just have 2-3 of these things in the car and swap tanks instead of refueling.

they work fine with proper fuel line fitting. even better if you run an external remote fuel pump.
i found some sweet little 4 gallon jon boat gas tanks at Academy sporting goods store that is similar shape to oem kawi 750 but more low profile for $25 with proper line pickups and one way valve :)

Didn't Gil post some pictures of a setup like this a while back? I thought he might of said it was Crammits setup. I like the idea myself. It would clear up a lot of room, hold a few gallons of fuel, and is cheap to implement.

yes you have to have a check valve, nice ideal waternut its very envorimentally friendly just swap out the gas tank no gas spilling and great at freerides where you cant fill up near the water,

This isnt my setup but ive ran a similar one all year i just replaced the yellow cap on a jerry with a kawi 550 tank pickup worked perfect no need to make any wholes in the tank

Cramit 442 did that 3 years ago. Those were the pics he posted. Worked well and creative.
