havent tried them out yet but have heard from friends this winter that these are super tough and are made to be almost waterproof and have neoprene lined inners. pretty well priced compared to jetpilots that fall apart in two rides usually

those are deadly! i ride in flat sole skate shoes with my own neoprene socks in them. I wonder what those look like after they have been wet a bunch of times. my skate shoes are usually my old kicks and last a season in the water.

Looks interesting...

I wear skater style shoes quite often since they are so comfortable. I just wonder if these are actually water proof...if not it seems they would get extremely heavy once they were completely soaked.

I have had great luck with my Slippery Race Boots. I wore them ALOT last summer with zero issues.

PS: just wondering what the point of a "waterproof" shoe is in terms of watersports. if its going to get completely submerged at some point or another then it will just retain water. . . right?

I have a cheap pair old nike wrestling shoes, 2 seasons and still look great. I bought them from academy for 55 bucks

ya i love wrestling shoes too, but thought the neoprene would feel nice and im sure these have a decent padded sole. tons of these shoe brand new on ebay for $25!!! worth a try. likely will be too heavy though

I use to do the same until 2 years ago I bought some Nike wake skate shoes.
Super light, have drain holes and have same kind of thick tongue real skate shoes have. Best shoes I've found so far.
