I agree.. God forbid the average person take a decent photo on their own. BTW, my paypal is wray652@gmail.com, just in case you were wanting it Mark.

love mark, but he is tha avaerage person as is most of the photogs out there right now. shoot the pic then photoshop later. real skill comes w/ film and darkroom experience. his brother is a professional. i am formerly trained as well, however not able to use it at this time due to lack of equipment. :beerchug:

My home away from home.
For Fathers Day the fam got me an Olympus Stylus Tough 8000. Seems pretty cool so far. Takes clean pics. The vid pic rate is slow. Don't know what it is, but it's slow. But for what I do it's cool. Should have seen everybody's face around the campfire a couple nights back when I said it was dirty and I poured water all over it and wiped it off with my shirt. I gotta rig some kind of backup lanyard with a floatie. She sinks like a brick.

Just got a Olympus Stylus Tough 8000 as well (upgraded from 770 SW) and love it. the video is 640x480 at 30fps which is fine for most things. Olympus' customer service is second to none, I have been using their sw line for a while now and when my buddy broke my 770 under extended warranty I mailed it to Olympus and had it back in 3 days fixed, upgraded firmware and cleaned, did I mention that was under extended warranty.

you don't need professional equipment to take good pics, just need to know how to do it with a regular p&s. (good not great)

recently took the 8000 on a trip around Europe and after 850 pics love the camera even more, especially the 28mm lens (wider than typical 35mm) that lets you capture more in less distance.
