here we go, swapping all my old junk into the new hull. this should be a huge change from the WDK Rev. I must say this carbon fiber stuff looks awesome all shined up. engine compartment is up next...

and again thank you to crazy joe's customs for their quality and customer service! and of course jetmaniac and p&p performance, those guys are always so helpful to me.

Engine fits like a glove. Ebox mounted. Progress continues now to take it back out and put some lipstick on the old pig.......(rusty head bolts gotta go)
everything is lining up perfectly! loving this thing more every day.

still test fitting - cutting new hoses, etc. almost ready to put all the pretty bolts on and to bolt it all together for real.

Once you get it all together get some new head bolts and girdle nuts on there please lol.

ordered a new cover for a SN - fits a little loose but it should work out for the summer. old cheapo ebay cover lasted 6 years - hopefully this one will as well.

ran into a fuel tank issue - cap hit the hood. the X rescued me again, heat gun did the trick. now for straps and fuel lines...

just a few hose clamps short.... then it is time to fire it up.

Anything else done to the engine other than pipe and head, electronics, and pump?

nope - it is just an old beater I picked up from Jetmaniac 5+ years ago? -2 pump, msd enchancer, nothing fancy. Motor is next on the wish list. hoping the weight loss and shortness of hull will make the little 701 seem larger, maybe it will feel like a 711! ha!
