Jarred,
The Mod Chamber IS the One that wraps around the flywheel cover.
Like Tims TNT shape. Center bleed.
Sorry Mile..but Croc is correct.

You guys are sooooooo wrong... newbies!

It is definitely an old mod chamber. The limited blaster chamber is bigger and uses a Lord mount on top. I don't see a Lord mount on this chamber. Hmmm. Also it's not all dented to hell like a limited chamber would be to fit in a Superjet. Hmmm. Also it has the slanted weld mark on it that I don't recall ever seeing on any limited blaster chambers. Hmmm.

I've had two of these chambers, there not even close to the limited.

Newbies!

Well, Im far from a newbie . . . . the top mounts were a pain and were somtimes cut off . . . I've got a Blaster mod pipe with no top mount just for that reason.

I have to admit I missed the seam in the picture . . . if I'm not mistaken the "early mod" pipe to which you refer is the same Limited pipe I pictured with about 1.5" cut out of the center of it just like the way they make the Limited SJ pipe into a Mod by shortening it. . . . . . Do you agree ?

If the pipe Fly2day has is a center bleed pipe then I don't know what it is . . . . .it must be something really oddball that was cut up, rewelded and then recoated. Alot of experimenting went on "back in the day" so it may be something "custom" .

Since we're talking about 'Blaster pipes . . . . . . There is another unusual Factory Pipe chamber floating around out there that you guys may run accross some time . . . . . it's a FPP 'Blaster MOD MOD pipe . . .that's a standard "wrap around center bleed 'Blaster Mod pipe" with a section cut out of the middle of it and then rewelded. If I recall correctly, this shorter "mod mod" pipe is actually the one that Tim Tynan's TNT pipe is based on. They were primarilly used on strokers.

I have one of those chambers. i thought it was made by ADA.

Yep, that's the one . . . They are stainless so they polish up nice like yours and make a great looking pipe.

As for . . ."Made" by ADA . . . . No . . . it's a Factory Pipe . . . .

Modified by ADA to go with one of their Billet Stroker cylinders ? . . . now, that would be possible. . . . .

I honestly can't say that they could be ordered as a "mod mod" directly from Factory pipe, I've never seen them listed in their literature or on their website . . . . . .but I have seen them with the FPP 'hammered finish" coating on them so I always assumed that they could be purchased that way . . . . .

"If I recall correctly, this shorter "mod mod" pipe is actually the one that Tim Tynan's TNT pipe is based on. "
This is controversial with regard to who based what on whos design.
