Super Jet B pipe cooling question- need help

I have a B pipe set up on my '00 RN with dual cooling through the exhaust manifold - water routed from the front of the head into the bottom of the head pipe and out the top of the head pipe - the water line goes straight to the pisser with a tee going through a restrictor into the stinger. I have had this setup for years with no problems at all, until last week. I had to change out my starter, which led to fixing several other things, which just happen to go bad at the same time. I tested my ski and had plenty of water coming out both pissers, but after pulling the ski out found the pipe really hot and the silicone elbow had been melted. I found an obstruction in the brass elbow on the head and removed it. I figured that would solve the problem, but got the same results, both pissers working but pipe real hot and elbow melted. My question is does water go into the pipe from the head pipe or just through the stinger. I could not find any other obstructions while running on a hose, but skis always work in the driveway. I need to narrow down where the problem is before I buy more elbows. Thanks, Griggsmars

You may have debris built up in your headpipe that could be clogging the spray holes (two or three depending on how hold your pipe is, identified by the adjustment grub screws with nuts on them). I would pull the pipe, remove those screws and flush it with water and compressed air.

That must be the problem, I took the head pipe off and put compressed air on the one nozzle while holding my finger over the other. No air came out, it must have debris in those holes. Thanks much

I have three screws on the headpipe, and have never had them off, and they don't want to loosen. I'm going to heat them and see if they will break loose, any other thoughts? Thanks
