B pipe installation/removal

A couple years ago I bought a b pipe and installed it. Well my brother was riding my ski and sunk it so I figured no would be a good time to rebuild the top end. I lost the original wrench I modified to tighten the two top inner bolts. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or tips or tricks to removing and re-tightening those bolts. They are 12 mm and the pipes on a 62t case.

I have found a craftsman 12mm wrench works just fine without modification.

Or go spend a few bone at harbor freight and grind on one.

I have sunk just about every ski I have owned except my freak. The motor is totally fine to ingest water, long as you don't hydrolock (bend a rod BC trying to compress water) you can remove both plugs, flip upsidedown (get a buddy or three to help) crank out the water, install new plugs and brap brap. It is very important to not wait a few days BC your crank will rust and a new OEM crank alone is more than new top end. Ingesting water will not hurt your top end, unless you hydrolock.

Next step is to ride the ski after ingestion. Do not just get it running again and call it a day. You MUST put a load on the ski to get out all the moisture. Learned this the hard way.

Please give us more info on the sinking. We are hear to help get you back out on the water!

Problem is it happened last summer and they are just now telling me about it. Ski broke down and when they tried to tow it in it nose dived. At least that's what they have said. Pulled the ebox out and it was full of water and grease. Pulled the spark plugs and they looked like moisture was on them. The motor isnt locked up I was able to turn the drive shaft by hand. Was going to try jumping the starter by overriding the solenoid to see if it would kick.
