Soo I'm having a problem with my B-pipe chamber rubbing into the side of the ski. Well yesterday it finally wore through the chamber and popped a hole through the side of the ski.

Has anyone had these issues or know how to correct my problem. This really sucks and I need to correct it asap.

It's a mod pipe into a TDR water box if that helps. Also no matter how I rotate the chamber it still hits the hull.

Thank you in advance

put some turf between the hull and the pipe, when it wears through the turf, put some new in. Thats pretty wild that it put a hole through your chamber. maybe you have other problems to be worried about like engine misallignment causing it to vibrate too much.

yes. Dont dent it if possible. I had my manifold machined down .25" (i think) where it meets the cylinders. That should shift the whole pipe twards the motor more. I am running a blaster mod chamber, but i also know people who are running a limited chamber with the maniflold milled and dont have any problems.

Put some turf under your waterbox. This will raise the pipe just a bit and add more clearance from the side. Silicon pads hold up to rubbing better than HT also. You can even use a silicon oven met.

Are you running an FX-1 pipe by any chance or do you have a SJ Chamber in there?

Cause the FX-1 pipe has the stinger off on an angle and if in a superjet, it will hit the hull something fierce.

The superjet stinger is in line with the chamber, and does not cause this issue.

I had to get the stinger of my FX-1 pipe cut and re-welded to be in line with the chamber, in order for it to fit and work well in a superjet.

Good luck.

its a sj chamber..i actually figured it out...apparently my water box shifted left allowed it to rub real bad, banged the chamber up and well wore through.

Learned lesson of the day, thourghly check your junk before you ride..

how are u connecting the pipe to the waterbox? when i first installed my pipei used the provided factory pipe coupling, it was wayy to long making the pipe sit right up against the hull, not good at all.

i ended up tossing it and making a shorter coupling out of stock exhuast tube.

i have turf between pipe and hull anyway tho
