Define it however you want, low end, throttle response, whatever, that is not the point. That hit off the bottom was the best part about the b pipe along with the mid range power. But to stop beating around the bush here, there's almost no performance comparisons posted about this pipe unless I am missing them, only people whining about where it is made. From the few that people have posted that I've seen, it seems the new pipe doesn't quite emulate the performance of the original. Is what it is, or does it just need tuning?
Tunning is a massive part of it. I only know of one person who has backed to back it on a dyno and they have only their word on it and their word does not seem to be well regarded in this forum hence their removal from this forum and their tunning strategy as shown in their videos is at best flawed. I have personally fitted to multiple skis and found it to be well on par with the other brand. Considering the chamber was supposed to be 2hp more on the dyno when first developed and a pump is at best 60% efficient thats a 1.2 hp difference, I doubt if most people could feel the difference. In regard to wax racing parts, yup they are made in china, Its better to not lie and not be caught other than some others people approach. Sooner or later it will come out where their parts are made and who will believe them then.

I am running the Wax manifold and head pipe with a fp mod chamber on a ported 718 dual 38's and oem cdi. Cant say I noticed any difference in performance (lake rec ski). However, I didn't have to open up the mani and headpipe with a grinder or spend another 50$ on upgraded water adjustment screws.

First and foremost to me is that it works. Thank you for the response, I do appreciate what you are doing for the industry regardless of origin of manufacture.

Bottom end is actually a mythological creature , as is Horsepower , bottom end is felt not derived , there are no subjective numbers or scales to base it off of, horsepower is calculated from torque , the only thing that matters on these skis is how fast you can get the engine into it's usable powerband , of course with differences in porting, stroke length , ignition systems , flywheel weights , carburation, pipe dimensions or pipe tuning and impeller pitch-pump loading, everyones usable powerband will be different on every ski .

I did come across a youtube video with showtime freestyle and a carbon flstwater ski that had a built 701 with full spec 48s with the wax headpipe and manifold but had the limited chamber with a 760 zeel and 155 pump that would do flatwater flips with combos..it was pretty impressive especially with the big 48s on a 701. He did mention it took a ton of tuning to get it there.

So what I’m seeing here is that to make it run, you need water injection or there is no bottom end, which the b pipe already struggled a lot compared to other pipes on top end but now slightly improved. Is ECWI a product that is even available anymore?
I have a bunch of brand new water injections around here somewhere from when I bought out coffmans ages ago. Micro touch if I remember right and programmable with chips
