B Pipe on Superjet

I have a 2009 SJ. The motor is stock and runs great/starts every time. I'm considering getting a B Pipe over the winter, and was curious if adding one can take away from the reliability of a stock motor. Can adding a pipe cause problems? Do you guys have any advice or thoughts?

Thanks

Anything that adds more power decreases reliability. The pipe will add 1000 rpm. You probably wont get 30 years out of a motor with a pipe.

However, it is not like porting or etc. If you tune it right, take care of it and dont excessively abuse it, then you will get many happy years with a much bigger smile than stock.

@SkiPro If I get one, you guys are going to have to help me get it on. Also, when you put those footholds in did you reinforce it and all that? The left side has some pretty good cracks in the paint near to footholds. It could have already been there and I didn't notice. Just curious
