First off I want to thank Josh (sinisterjosh209) for all the help so far with this build. The guy takes pride in his work, he is a animal and perfectionist when it comes to building these skis. Always there to answer any questions.
I went with his standard infused glass lay up with a little extra beef in a few areas as this is my first am hull so a little extra weight didn't bother me in trade for strength. I went with the two tone also as I've only seen one other two tone phantom at the time of the build. Josh and I went back and fourth with his graphic guy for awhile until we finally were able to come up with the look we wanted and this is what we came up with...
After I picked up the ski, I took it home and brought it straight into the house lol. It was to nice to stick out in my garage at the time. After pondering it for awhile I called Josh and talked him into doing the turf, he hates doing turf! Like I said he is a perfectionist so it only made sense that he did it to compliment the rest of the ski. Here's how it turned out..
After awhile of thinking I decided I wanted to throw some power into the ski so I bit the bullet and ordered a ET967. It wasn't in the plans but you know how that goes with this stuff. It finally arrived the other day. Art from Engine Tech is also another stand up guy that takes pride in his work, check it out..
The ski is living in a spare bedroom at the house currently, getting ready to put it in the garage and start building it. The dresser behind the ski in the pic below is loaded with all the parts for the ski.
The build parts list looks like this:
ET967 stock stroke ADR crank
Power factor exhaust
Php intake with V force 3's
46mm Mikunis
Stock electronics with enhancer
Limited slip 3 gal tank
X metal comp pole and trim
Blowsion steering and controls
144 mag pump (selling for 148 or 155)
I will update the thread as I starting putting this bitch together.
