I have this kit on my boat and it is really nice. Well thought out and addresses the strain issue on the hull in that area for holding up the hood. Great product Tobtek! A must have, if you own a Blaster!!!

I just got mine today, Where does the lower bracket go exactly? Do i drill 3 new holes to mount it? Goes between my oil tank and fuel filter? Will i be able to keep my oil tank still with the hood shock?

yeah i had to drill two holes and i used one of the holes that was already there from oil tank that im no longer useing this is a must have for blaster. the hood will lift itself up and stay up. best $ ive spent on my blaster

Not to come off being smart, but how do these differ from the 701 Industries hood kit, I know they have the dual hood kit, but is there any pros cons about each. I'm in the market for 1, Thanks!
