I have a B1, bone stock except for Pro-tec Mach 1 pipe. Well, the CDI was failed, so I replaced it with one I had, which has the limiter removed (I think thats what it is, I just wrote on it modded years ago). I've had this ski for 10+ years, but it remained stock. Out of the barn, to the lake, never winterized, reliable.
What would be a good impeller? Is stock good still?
This is just a fun lake machine. I'd like to restore some bottom end that I am sure I lost with the Pro-tec pipe. I havent actually had it on the water yet. I dont care about top speed as much. Just want a responsive machine.
It is a single carb 61x/61x, jetted to FP specs for now (145/120/stock needle/95 spring). Which are different than what Pro-tec sent me.
Has anyone ever tried re-pitching the stock impeller? I have a spare I bought for a SJ that I never installed that I could play with.
