Blaster b1 nose kit

so theres been alot of builds of people cutting and rounding off the gigantic wall in the nose of blaster to make her more surf friendly. I saw, i forget who, was molding a custom chopped and shaved blaster hull. So, is anybody making a conversion kit to just glass on like tubbies?

sick im was thinking maybe at the end of this season id commit to it, i have been following your thread while now, it makes so much sense to do. i dont want to get into chopping the back off at the same time but the nose looks totally worth it, can you still fit the gas tank in the stock mounts or did you relocate the waterbox and shift the tank. i feel like it would make it so much more playful and let you sub like a mofo.

Have you ever tried to slash the face of a wave on one of these? The stock nose is shaped like a brick wall! Lots of room for improvement here...

I am wondering about the stock gas tank location as well tho...

carterb has a nose kit in production!! just was talkin to him, its a little pricey but tempting. ^^ The nose of the blaster, if you ever ride a blaster in surf, do you have a blaster, has a tendency to drop and nose in. Removing the wall in the nose of the ski seems like it would create a far more playful SURF ski. It just makes sense. im told that there will be vids and more pics soon to come.

The noes also makes it more friendly for slashing wave's and re-entries where i ride its real shallow and my stock nose liked to find the bottom now it stays on top...going to try to get some vid this weekend of it

it just seems right, the blaster3 or 800 or whateve doesnt has the chopped nose so it must do something, but to each his own is the best way to put it. it just looks like fun and maybe if you have a spare maybe hull, 1 of 7, send it my way i'll hack it up and we can try it out and compare, ryan

the blaster has always been an let's say an interesting ski to ride. designed in 93 when not to much was goin onfreestyle wise it was dsigned for race and it held

it's own .because of it size and manouvabity it' is in stock form still a good ski for surf.but anyone who knows me know I don't like stock form .I redesigned nose and transom to make it a faster responding ski in corners or when slashing waves and new nose design helps when launching up the wave or coming down it .As far as backies and rolls the ski seems to respond a lot better ie no real need to hit the lip when fliping to make sure you get all the way round and rolls aer generally easier will be making a surf vid real soon just awaiting the arrival of my new motor as far as making a mould of the nose to sell it seems cj407 has somehow claimed that title a copy of a copy good luck

huh i have subed the nose on the face of a wave a few times over the years . its kind of funny to have happen to ya. but where we have waves big enough to "slash" waves with is deep so no worries about hitting the bottom. (or i just dont it where is low) just before you go over your like oh crap here we go. lol thats my front flip. its just under water. i dont know about bf or rolling a blaster cause i never tryed it. (ill stick to my superjet for that) not that i can bf that yet. (i can land on my head very good) just seams like a lot of work for not much gain. y not just get a superjet?
