Going to be installing this Riva rear exhaust on my B1 and want to get it right. I installed a couple of these in the past but they just didn’t seem well supported on the inside.

Did Riva ever supply a template where to locate the hole? Or if someone knows of the best location for it?IMG_4073.jpeg

Good question! I have wondered what this process looked like and if it changes the sound much? I'm guessing performance is unchanged?

Clean looking piece.

and why do that? other than preventing a murky looking pump.
Choose any combo of the following:
-they blew up the stock fiberglass waterbox and had raider parts laying around
-they want more room in the engine bay for....reasons.
-they think rear exhaust looks cool
-they think the raider box sounds different
-they like metal parts more then fiberglass
-they like fixing things that aren't broken
-they are slapping an oem 64x exhaust pipe in like me and box in the engine bay isn't an option

that an awesome list. Just glad it didn‘t say “go faster”
