All is good to go I just have to figure out how to keep my RRP chamber from shaking like it’s on crack even when it’s strapped down.
Thinking maybe cause it’s a tight fit that the snoot is hitting the manifold a little gotta play with it. And since I don’t have my HT blocks, because Jetmaniac paid someone to mess up my shipment from HT and corner the market, I’m going to have to get creative.
Then I’d say I’ll get a strong 6 minutes of riding before the ski has the one very specific issue that I won’t have parts with me to fix and ruin my trip lol.

Finished this little turd up enough to make the trip, eventually the bolt holes will get ground out and I’ll be putting plastic spacers in and glassing over them. Will do the job for now and doesn’t leave that huge ugly gap the jacked up metal one did.

The circus is such a different animal from the badass.. love this hull already.
Really strange though, I went from the badass to the circus with all my parts and changed nothing. Badass pulled like a freight train from bottom to top no issues as of this April. Circus feels almost over propped now with the same setup; can’t think of ANYTHING that changed besides hull/pump tunnel and grate.
I am about 400ft higher then where I last rode but I can’t see that making such a night and day difference.
Would love to try a richer low speed but I don’t have any 125 pilots floating around so ah well!

Arghhhhh my cages!!!
Caught it just in time :)
Sending the crank to Chris for a rebuild and we will be back in business.
If anyone is wondering two years underwater shortens crank life by about 80%

Hard to see but there is hard steel pieces embedded in the dome and no sleeve damage.

Yeah I’ll have to bend her down a pitch once I get my hands on a gauge
Was at a race years ago, a buddy was needing to do some bending, He took it to Tim Judge, Tim asked him what his RPM was top end, He told him. Tim took the prop, without a guage, bent the blades just a bit, said "Go Try it" He came back and said this is what I got now. Another small bend and good to go....... Its not the guage, its knowing where to bend!!!!!!!! That said, I have one of those printed guages and suck at bending blades!!!!!!!!!!

Got the watcon gauge, bit pricy for some plastic but makes the job easy, i like easy and fast wrenching.
Been riding my circus some now, dont know if I should cutback my prop or go steeper, running 9/17 longblade but feels like i rip thru the rpms fast without hearing some significent load on the engine

What engine setup do you have?

Xs1000, dasa48s, msd tl, rrp pipe and rrp wb,
155 skat sb with xs ls10 trim
You should have a consistent violent pull from bottom to top with the proper prop. It shouldn’t really “blast” thru the rpm range but it’ll be pretty snappy and you should be feeling consistent pull thru the entire range.

On coupler side. Edge of piston mooshed from ramming into case.
What’s interesting is I can hear the clicking in the bottom end when it’s assembled but the actual rod bearing itself feels tight and smooth. Interesting for sure. Can’t visually see any damage to to any cages.
I have yet to actually catch a crank like this right before it let loose.
Anyways a quick trip to C57 and some cleaning and back she goes!
