Blaster Back Flip Blaster 1 Build, Rocker Nose Kit, - 6, FINISHED!!!!

did the black and white blaster in daytona , dud with orange helmet have this kit on it.

Hey bud, that was my hull. I built it from scratch and shaped it with foam. The front is cut back only to the bond line and the stock scoop looking things are also still in place.

I am interested to see how this build rides, post up some vid!

You were freakin killin it out there bro. Made me think about a Blaster for a minute LOL!!!! Killer skilz and it appeared the changes made to the hull were super effective for both re-entries and flips. Did you shorten yours at all?

Thanks man! Gotta love the blasters! The nose mod is the best thing to do, the ski rides waayyyy better in the surf! The hull is minus 3 on the rear, straight cut across. If you make it to WaveDaze you are welcome to take it for a spin! By then Erik should have the new power plant dialed in for some extra fun!

Putting a 61x bottom end on a DASA cylinder is wasting money. I've read where someone else did that and they felt it worked well. They would have gotten the same performance out of a well tuned non ported 760. The small reed cages will flow only so much, plus they're pointed in the wrong direction. Don't build that cool boat with a good top end only to give it a bottom end that maxes out at 90hp, that would be a moral crime.

What about a gp1200 motor. HA

You will still do better with the Dasa motor & you dont have to re-invent the wheel, like engine mounting, tripple pipes & no room to swing a cat in the engine bay.
A stroker crank in 61X cases will make the situation worse, by increasing the volume of the motor, which needs more gas, but the cases & tiny reeds won't be able to deliver it.
I've ported 61X cases & they make better power, but no matter what you do to those cases they will never perform like 62T ported cases can.
If you wanted awesome power & were thinking stroker, an 8mm Dasa, ported 62T cases & Powerfactor Pipe will blow your mind & launch you off those waves into next week.
Your seat is looking trick!
