Question...I tried one of these on my SJ and is the ski meant to be turned on while you are flushing or is the ski off and u flush it. I only ask b/c with the ski on the motor and pipe were getting way too hott.

ohhh man..you MUST RUN THE SKI WHILE FLUSHING!!!!

otherwise 2 things are going to happen...#1 you'll over heat it...#2 you'll fill the crankcase with water!

Yes I was running it while I reverese flushed it just didn't seem to be cooling very well like the water doesnt want to flow back through the ski. Do i need to turn the hose all the way up so there is more pressure?

1 Yr Report: Been using mine for over a year now, very nice product that is standing up really well with no signs of wear yet. It still fits snug in both my skis and hasn't popped out once yet.
