Back in the game! 94 FX1

Hey guys, sold my superjet ten years ago to fund my business and missed it ever since! This 1994 FX1 popped up a half hour north of me recently and I had to pick it up! Prices are crazy right now but I knew there weren’t many FX1s left with original graphics in this condition.
I ordered a b pipe that will be in stock who knows when, also going to pick up xscream adjustable bars and high compression head... my question is what are people running for a prop with similar bolt on mods?

We used Solas impellers in the past, didnt seem to matter which one with larger modded engines. The stock pump is too small to work well at low speeds. I would leave the compression stock until you install a Kawasaki or Superjet pump. Kawasaki pumps are easy. The pipe will make it go faster though.

Thanks! I will look into that! I saw people grafting in Yamaha pumps when I was looking around but I don’t want to do that to this ski, if it isn’t direct bolt on I would like to keep it stock

Met a guy at the bar last year, who had an FX1. I told him if you sell it let me know and don't let it go for less than 2k.....

He sold it to some guy for $1400, who turned around put it up for sale at $3500.

Enjoy it!

I paid more than that for mine :/ but for the condition and being twenty minutes from my camping spot, fine with me

A Kawasaki 650 pump fits with little if any hull cutting. Ues a 900XZI driveshaft and change the mid housing bearings and seals. Making a Yamaha 144 pump work right means replacing the entire pump inlet. The 144 wont work any better without doing this.

Little winter build update on the FX1, installed xscream bars/steering/throttle... working on installing a B pipe if I can get the right coupler for the waterbox... and redoing the turf. Going to do pink bottom and purple sides and save the template for when everything fades in a few years and needs to be done again lol
Kinda sucked to take the original stuff off but the bars snapped on the last weekend of riding and the oem mats were worn so... oem+ Is kinda the theme for this

Little update- still have to do the turf but doing purple sides and pink tray... did a brand new b pipe mod chamber with all black couplers and lines, tried to do a super clean install, also swapped out the odi ends for some purple ones, because “vintage” enjoy!

What did you end up for a impeller?

Also, if u use the b-pipe you will need a MSD rev limiter?inhanser. If not be bumping off the rev limiter all the time!
