Hello all... been out of the scene for a while and now im back with a new project.. Blater B1!

As some might know i had an XFT, but now i sold it but just the body and i kept the motor, B pipe, elect, pump and everything else.. So i wanna dump it all in the Blaster and maybe add total loss.

My Questions r..

-Will this B pipe fit or is there a Blaster specific Bpipe?

-Can i use the same Pump with the impeller i have on now or is it a different pump?(see sig)

-What about the water box?

-Shall i go dual 48 or stick to the single 49?

-Where can i find trick parts for the Blaster.. who sells them?

-Finally.. is there any aftermarket seats for it or is it just one seat different upolstry? I think i read once that there a different kind of seat but not sure.

If u have any tips or tricks or u thing i should change something in my setup please let me know. The purpose of this B1 is mainly to fark around!:woot:

Thanx in advance

Zane...

steering cable

everything else is pretty much the same!

oh, and you can shave the seat down so its lower....i know some guys that like it, and some that dont!

Haha no i didnt sell the XFT for the B1.. i just had the B1 sitting gutted out for a while now. I sold the XFT to get the newer version and give my back a break as i jacked it up pretty good:biggthumpup:

So why wouldnt the pipe/waterbox work?

When u say shave the seat down.. do u mean shave the foam where u sit?

Do u know of a place that sells B1 parts?

Thanx

the foam is shaved so there is no longer a "bump" in the seat....I actually like the bump as when I hit the throttle it helps to keep me in place..

there is a specific fact B pipe for the B1, and same for the waterbox..........

jetrim charges 250 to shave and cover the seat and the plastic piece below the seat. prop will work not the pump.dont see why you cant make the water box work.dont buy the steering with spring on ebay they suck .umi oor the acusteer if you can find one.they are much fun in flat water but love the crap out of jumping cabin cruisers

the only diff in the pipe is the chamber. ive seen blaster mod and limited chambers in superjets with little modification. id think that the blaster being bigger would allow for an SJ chamber under the hood. my blaster hull knowledge is very limited though. the blaster chambers make more power than the SJ chambers anyway, in my experience.

i believe the pump and impeller are the same, but the shaft size is different.

id stick with the single 49

the drive shaft is diff and the for a seat alot of people shave the hump. i have one someone cut down alot it felt like sitting on a x2 seat did not like it at all.

So i have everything except for the pipe and some nice handle bars (Not UMI).

Will my worx scoop grate from the XFT work?

Whats the best pipe to get and where can i find it? Does anyone here have an extra used one?

Also, who sells the big taper pro(i think) bars without the cross brace? and will they bolt right up to the factory stem or do i need to modify something?

Sorry for the boring questions.. ur help is always appreciated tho:biggthumpup:

The limited chamber is for more bottom end. Looks like a Super chamber only with a mount tab on the front where the front mounts to the gas tank bolt. If you run that chamber there is an alum. pipe (FP piece) that snakes around back to the water box. Or there is the mod chamber, which is better top end. It's the large one that comes around the top front of the motor/flywheel cover.
I may know someone with an extra mod chamber. I'll let you know.

Other than driveshaft, and water box, most stuff is the same. There was never to many Blaster mod parts specifically made for the B1 (not much to improve on). I hear there are some carbon hoods floating around but have never seen one.

Did you ever get the motor in your XFT hull working?

I recently bought a b1 and have started modding it. I put on factory b mod pipe and like it. Engine revs hard and chamber is easy to remove and install for service and does not block access to head for service. DO NOT BUY TDR WATERBOX. I bought one from RIVA and it was quieter and more restrictive than stock. I had to plasma it in halves and gut baffles to make it flow. This is not worth money invested to have to rebuild product. I do not know about factory pipe waterbox. I installed rear exhaust on mine (actually dual rear exhaust) and I dont know if it helped at all, but it looks cool.:woot:

MOst will say go with the Mod pipe. I have the limited and it hits realy hard on a stock motor with 165psi head. I will let you know in about a week how the limited chamber works with the motor in my Sig.

One word of warning on mod pipe. I got mine brand new and it had 1 lord mount that split in half on first ride other mount was fine. Mount was not overtightend or damaged on install. Probably a fluke, but might take a look if you run a mod. Replaced mount and it has worked fine ever since.

I'd go B limited...makes the inside of the ski WAAAAAY cleaner....plus you can access the front cover with out pulling the pipe!......and you can never go wrong with a factory pipe waterbox...

sorry, forgoot about the different shafts.......and yes, your intake will work!!!

stick with the single 49mm....it'll rip

If you are riding in surf, stay the away from the mod pipe. You can make them work, but in my experience, they are just too prone to coming off the coupler.

how does your limited mount?i have one lord mount at the tank ive seen them with two one near the coupler and tank. mine was coming off almost every ride i cheated now i use the couple off a stock x2 and i can go most of the season without a blow off

And all this time I thought I got the wrong pipe. lol I do like that it is cleaner under the hood. I am very satisfied with my limited.
