backflips, how to, info?

hey everyone, i've been working on my free-style and riding skills for the past two months, i have inproved greatly since i started. its time to learn backflips, or i feel like im ready for them. now, im no newbie to flips on motorized vehicles, i can flip my yz125 pretty effortlessly now. my question is, i just bought my new superjet, it is shortened 2 inches, the whole hull for easier flips by the previous owner, it also has an ada racing head, factory limited pipe, lighter 3 gal gas tank, and a bunch of others. it has plenty of pickup, i feel like it would be enough to fling me around no problem. the ski already has a tendency to go nose high while just jumping, and thats with an extended ocean pro ride plate. i have another shortened d-cut ride plate, its similar to stock. anyways, any tips on back flips, or is it just mainly commitment? you think my ski has enough power to get around, and whats a good sized wave to try my first off?

you want the short plate and the steepest biggest wake possible. if you can get a v wake (2 boats) use that. pull it hard off the lip and pin it. stay low in the tray.
watch some videos on youtube and copy what you see

whatever you do, dont let go the because the ski will land on you and that will hurt you, like Aircraftsalz just said no pain on upside down landing,
go for it, and the most important take Pictures!
Good luck

ill have my go pro on, so well see how i do. one last question is what should my body positioning be, pole flat with my ass hanging off the back with a nice oll braaaappppp! or whats a good technique?

Best to watch some video's, I think everyone has a different body position. Once you try it you just keep doing it until you land one.

Like lucas said never, ever let go! I know first hand!

alright, well i got out there today and had some good luck and some bad. good was i got out there, im getting pretty close to landing some rolls but i still need to bring it around a good bit, but im sure ill get it soon enough. also, i attemped a couple backs, the first one threw sideways, but after the second i lost all my steering so i had to give it up for the day. bad news was, well i lost my steering, and the other was my go pro died after 5 minutes. it was kind of a bad day, i had over mile ride with no steering, haha, im suprised i even made it.

Great news your trying but i hope your not doing this alone you need support in case something goes wrong be smart.

yea, i am trying it alone, thats usually a major no,no in my books, but i've literally got no one to ride with, except when i meet up with people mayve once a week. i had my buddys boat out at the island and they were watching, but thats the best i could do. anyways, hopefully ill get one down soon, but for now ill stick with perfecting my large stabs, there just sooo damn fun.
